To see this effect with Jabo's plugin, enable "Copy framebuffer to RDRAM" for v1.6.1, or "Emulate Primary" in v1.5.2. Glide64 with Mupen64 can use "Get frame buffer info". Glide64 in other emulators will need to have the option "Read every frame (slow!)" enabled. It's not that slow.

Note: If using Jabo's audio as the sound plugin, configure it and check "Sync game to Audio". Jabo's Direct 3D8 has two issues. If the position overlay is used (right C twice), the 2nd place position shows up as '5' instead of "2". It also renders the Whomps incorrectly in Bowsers Castle. In the Direct 3D6 plugins, the framebuffer effect used for the screen in Luigi's Raceway updates slower, so it does not look as "smooth". It does not matter which you use, v1.5.2 just has less issues.
