Info: Most emulators have random cracks and pops in audio. This may be because the game may run slower than normal. Mupen64 gets the game's speed and audio almost perfect.

- (Minor) Project64 has skips in the audio. 1964 has random pops and the music plays way too fast during some menus.

Note: Update Project64 with the unofficial v4.22 RDB (check the "Info" page for a link) or the game will not work. it fails to boot in Mupen64. Besides the audio issues above, the game seems to run fine (although I can't figure out how to play it).

Note: This game can take advantage of N64 overclocking. Overclocking can cause a bug where races will end almost instantly after they start. To fix overclocking, configure the audio plugin, and check "Force Old Audio Sync". Setting up to 200MHz is more than enough to smooth this game out.

- (Minor) 1964Video is missing the lock on triangle effect in the "Solid Gear" game. Other various graphical errors.

- (Minor) Minor audio issues (read "Note" below).

Note: Project64 has a slight skip in the audio every so often, which behaves different depending on the audio plugin used. Mupen64 has slight pops in the music every so often. 1964 has a combination of both errors, so it is not suggested. The Project64 Audio Fix Edition is the only emulator that gets the audio perfect, and still offers the best possible experience.

- (Minor) Zipper transition effect is missing in all plugins.
- (Minor) Black pause screen (fails to capture the screen).
- (Minor) Some minigames may not be playable using Jabo's video due to missing effects (I am unsure about Glide64).
- (Minor) Timing errors (this causes "lines" to extend from characters to the edge of the screen). Can be slightly fixed with “Sync game to audio” in Jabo's Direct Sound plugin.

Info: There may be more errors/fixes that I do not know of. I need to fully complete this game again, I only have once on the real N64 many years ago. If anyone has any suggestions regarding this game, then by all means send me an e-mail.

- (Minor) Popping sounds in the audio, use "Sync game to Audio" in the sound plugin to improve (not a complete fix).
- (Moderate) Game is very dark. If this is a bother, Project64 has a cheat "Max Brightness" that can be enabled (not for V1.1 of the ROM). It must be enabled before loading a stage to work, or the stage can be reloaded from the pause menu.

- (Minor) Texture errors in the title and intro screens. This can be fixed with "Filtering Mode: Force Point-sampled", but the overall graphics of the game will not look that nice.

Note: Config Glide64 and enable "Render N64 frame buffer as texture" or there will be missing text. In 1964, configure 1964 Audio and enable "Synchronize speed to audio". This will make sure the game and audio does not run too fast.

Info: Seems to be unstable in 1964 (randomly hangs). There may be other graphics plugins that work, but I lack patience when it comes to testing story driven games in Japanese.

- (Minor) Runs too fast (60 FPS), causing frequent skipping about every second. Although NTSC, 50 FPS is normal for this game. To correct this, right click ROM in browser, enter ROM Properties, and change "Max VI Limit: PAL 50 vi/s".

Note: Disable Fog in Glide64 to prevent transparency issues while under water. This game really takes advantage of N64 overclocking features found in the overclocking versions of 1964. A bump to 200MHz makes it seem like a new game.
